I have a Linux notebook and an Android phone. I can connect via USB or Wifi LAN. I have a shell app on the phone but the keyboard is, of course, terrible. I would love an app that lets me do a remote login (like ssh) from the notebook to the phone.

Is there a way to call the Capture activity from adb? If so, this would work on a phone with USB debugging already enabled but locked with a pattern lock. Please let me know.

I am also getting this error on several phones during a class. Example:
6 exact same phones (same apps, contacts, pics, etc...), and 4 out of 6 get the Error Type 3. The APK is not showing up on the phone as being installed. Any suggestions?

An examiner´s SD-Card was used, but the files weren´t saved on the SD card but instead on the internal memory of the device which should have been avoided at all cost!

The testing device was a rooted Samsung GT-I9000 (Galaxy S).
